For those who have never spent a Winter in Minnesota, I do not advise it. It is an experience just as bleak and exhausting as the movie Fargo portrays, only with less snow, and more dirt, salt, and poor driving habits. I spent much of the last 3 Winters I've lived here in the Como Conservatory, and traveling to any other warmer climate I could find. Looking on the bright side as I write this on May 6, as Spring is banging on the door here finally, I am thankful the Winters here are so dreary. Otherwise, Spring would not be so welcomed, and I wouldn't have had the chance to take such beautiful pictures or visit places I would not have thought twice of had they not been 50 degrees in January. Just think of these images as my sunshine placebo, waiting for Spring to finally come.
