Hawaii is a place of complete contradictions. Desert meets rainforest only 2 hours away. A pair of dormant volcanoes meet their angry sister Pele building new shoreline. It's an amazing place to spend time, as much or as little as you have available. For sure, no matter what amount of your life you spend on the Big Island, it will call back to you, and it already has for me. Everything time I see these pictures, I think about what a beautiful place it was for my husband and I to start our marriage. It wasn't just a honeymoon, but a chance to relax, a chance to try new things, like our first helicopter ride, and a place to really settle into who we are and just be fine with it. The culture of the island not only replenished our souls, but framed for the two of us a mindset on our we live our lives. Relax, take every day as it comes, and be as happy as possible in any given moment.
